Lucas Arruda

Experimenting lithography and etching

In 2018, Cahiers d’Art offered Lucas Arruda the opportunity to produce a set of prints. The 4 different motives were produced  in Paris at Michael Woolworth workshop and allowed the artist to pursue his study of different printing techniques such as lithography and etching.

Between initiation, trial and error and demands, this series is the fruit of a long research and remains faithful to the artist’s universe. Lucas Arruda builds his landscapes from memory and tries to capture the light in them.
