The publications and exhibitions of Cahiers d’Art have often given rise to the creation of original printed works.
Lithographs by Picasso, Miro, Chagall, Léger and Masson have been specially produced by these artists for Cahiers d’Art.
Continuing on from this intense activity of publishing printed works, contemporary artists have extended this production of lithographs. Since 2012, many of them have collaborated with Cahiers d’Art: John Giorno, Lucas Arruda, Per Kirkeby, William Kentridge, Lee Ufan, Gabriel Orozco, Kim Yong-Ik, Andreas Eriksson, Adel Abdessemed. They come from very different backgrounds, and each have reactivated, with a particular imprint, the history and links of Cahiers d’Art with lithography and printing.
