Exhibition from the 27 February to 22th June 2020
Andreas Eriksson’s artistic Practice is highly expansive, encompassing a wide range of different media, including painting, photography, sculpture and installation.
Eriksson’s works often appear quiet and understated; yet they are belied by the poetic and by a deep-seated significance, which has a lasting effect on the spectator.
Since 2000 the Artist has lived in kinnekulle, sweden, in a house situated in the middle of a forest. Small events and phenomena from his everyday life and surroundings inspire his works, which hover enigmatically between the abstract and the figurative, creating a window to the outside world that is simultaneously familiar and mysterious. The emotional intensity with which eriksson imbues his work is the result of a sustained investigation into charting his own reactions to the natural world that surrounds him.
